In 2009, while praying about my purpose, the Holy Spirit laid on my heart to start a ministry for women from all walks of life. Not having any idea where to start, I shared it with my husband. He gave me his blessings and said, “Do it!” I also shared the vision with my then-son-in-law. His response was, “Why not look into starting a non-profit ministry?” With his help, True Manna Ministries came into fruition May 19, 2010.
Prayerfully, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we aim to cultivate an environment of spiritual growth through the teachings of the Scripture, the ministry of prayer, and providing spiritual guidance for navigating life challenges. Through our collective efforts, our goal is to positively impact our community and beyond, establishing a legacy of compassionate service for generations to come.
Creating opportunities for this transformation will be supported via:
Empowered by the love of Jesus Christ, we contend to provide an atmosphere for women to be supported, uplifted, and discover their full potential for serving God and others while experiencing the abundant life in the Kingdom of God.
Fran White, a grateful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, a wife, teacher, writer and a prayer minister. Fran White is the founder of True Manna Ministries, Inc. with a secondary ministry—True Manna Women’s Ministry.
At a very young age Fran searched for a friend; someone who would listen, laugh with her and someone who would not judge her when she was not her best. Fran found that friend, He was there all the time. Yes, His name is Jesus. This journey with Jesus started at the age of 12. Although, she didn’t know what a real relationship meant, she felt He was there. At the age of 23, Fran was introduced to the Holy Spirit. She surrendered total control to Him. As she spoke in tongues, He told her, “Fran, all you have to do is love Me and everything else will fall in place.” He has kept what He had promised.
Fran met her husband, Clifford White, in high school. After graduation, her husband joined the United States Airforce. The family traveled with Clifford as he served at various Air Force Bases. During their time at Grissom Air Force Base in Indiana, Fran felt the Lord’s leading to pursue an education degree. She graduated from Indiana University with a major in elementary education and a minor in early childhood education. Fast-forward through several moves with the United States Airforce, four beautiful children and six grandchildren later, the family settled in Marietta, Georgia. Fran felt the Lord’s leading again. She returned to college to receive a Doctorate in Christian Education from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida. Fran finished out her teaching career and retired with 40 years in education.
Fran heeded God’s call to become a full-time prayer minister and a teacher of God’s Word to women from all walks of life. Until God adds another chapter to her story, Fran shall continue to serve the women He allows to cross her path, always pointing them to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
